A 14-year-old madrasah student has been allegedly raped in Akhaura, Brahmanbaria.
It is learned that the madrasah student got angry with her parents after 8 pm on Friday. She left home and left for the house of a distant relative named Babul Mia of Khalapara village under Mogra union.At around 9 pm, two men named Ziar Hossain (35) and Ibrahim Prakash Apu (20) followed her.The victim said, Apu put pressure on my face and Ziar Hossain raped me. After about 2 hours, they took me around the road for an hour. They repeatedly threatened to kill me if I told anyone about the rape. Ziar Hossain left me at Apu’s house at 12 o’clock at night and went to his house.
The victim’s father filed a case with the Akhaura police station on Saturday night.Police raided the house on Saturday night and arrested Ibrahim Prakash Apu, an accomplice of Ziar Hossain.
The victim girl was sent to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital for medical examination on Sunday afternoon.
In this regard, Akhaura Police Station SI Nitai said,It is believed that Apu has a love affair with the girl who confessed to the rape.I have come to know in the preliminary investigation that a boy named Apu has had a physical relationship with the girl many times before.
Confirming the incident, Akhaura Police Station OC Rasul Ahmed Nizami said, accused Ziar Hossain was absconding. An operation is underway to arrest him.
